Why Wear An Underwear Singlet

everyday trips

Since a few days, I am me again to write a blog post, well, then today is exactly the right weather to ... it was pouring ... ... It has now somehow starting the rainy season, or at least a harbinger of it. So it has been raining all week, but today it really pours right the whole time, so the street full of water and it is difficult to come to school, would also come in this weather anyway little kids, so today at our school without classes. Also on Monday
was already enough going on in school, because on this Days on strike across India because of high oil prices. The public schools, as well as shops and much more remained closed. Furthermore, no buses and drove very few outos. In the morning we managed to get a Outo .... Although we were during the trip about 4 times stopped by people with sticks, but we had some important people sitting in uniform in our Outo, so they let us pass forever. At noon it was really all paralyzed. Luckily, just an employee at the school, me and Betty was then brought to the scooter in the pouring rain back home. I have not seen this ever, the whole road was empty. Outos No, no people, no buses.

Last week, Betty, Eli and I three days in Vijayawada visit the other Volos and look at the project there. It is a really big and well-organized project, really nice. You notice the difference to our simple, as it has existed for 25 years, our project is less than 5 years old. After the nice three days in Vijayawada, we took the train to Hyderabad. There we visited other Volos, looked at a few sights, visited our former Father and then we brought Eli to the airport, unfortunately, as their three-week visit was over and she flew back to Switzerland. On Saturday, Betty and I drove back 14 hours by train. We took this time a place to sleep, because it's really much more comfortable and the time goes really fast. It was a nice trip, but it's always nice to come home again.

Well if I do not just travel and also makes us the rain does not thwart, then I have been teaching in the school. Now sounds as if it would be rare, but do not worry I've been there often enough. The 2nd
And 3 Class I teach again in English. Although there are many students, teaching actually works very well, but we have to have something together and I have the children learn better. Unfortunately, this is often very difficult, because few children really come every day, there are many who are holding back sometimes and then not longer.
The first love Class Teach I also in English and she really steal a lot of nerve. Even when I'm alone in the class until they are at times quiet and all sit in her place. Of course, many are often not, so sometimes I have five students, then wiedermal more than 15, crazy. The next big problem arises when I want them copying something. I then walk about 10 minutes until everyone around a notebook or a small table and has a matching pin and then to really write off all is somehow my patience and the time already over. But I can teach them a bit already and if it's just that sometimes they finally sit quietly and simply write off what. Usually I prepare now before Worksheets, because in fact they are all work quietly and diligently, and even make the worksheet because it makes them so fun, 2 or 3 or even 4 times. The beauty is, when the hour is over, no matter what was in the hour, the children laugh and run around and hug me, talk to me, smile at me and I can not just be evil.

Well, my dear 4th Class. It consists of 2-3 boys and 5 Maedler. The boys multiply and divide as the world champion and I am already at the superior to what I can do with them yet. The girls and (so around 12 - 14 years) struggling just starting with subtractions. About 3 weeks I have explained some of them, as expected minus works at all. Meanwhile, we already do it with 10 below and reckon with the help of fingers (Traderjob kind of funny when the fingers come in calculations because the number is greater than 10, then just the toes are used for further calculations). The girls have probably helped in recent years at home in the household and also fear that their future is therefore, means that they will be married soon and are likely to be mothers and housewives. But I'm currently really happy that they all come regularly to school and are genuinely motivated to learn. In addition, you notice her age at maturity, so they do not hit all the time and take away any of the pins to each other and they even have pen and notebook with (ok a notebook in which all specialties and breadth be written, but no matter), so the teaching does with them after I am always well before the first Class was amused.

What else was going on ... at 25.6. We went with our Father one day in a tribal area. Soon in the morning we left we went out with the jeep from the city, where there are many villages and then up a mountain by seemingly untouched nature. When we got there was up a really large village with many shops, schools and of course people. First, we found ourselves at the famous caves are there. Then we wanted to watch a tribal museum, but it was closed. So we drove back down the mountain a piece and went there a village. There have sisters a house in which they teach children from tribal families and give them accommodation and so on. These children then live there for a year and then they come in other projects, then all the boys come to us. So we have seen the house where most of our guys have spent a year. The Sisters know the families of our boys, so it was very interesting to talk with them and to learn more about the family background. Some of them come from villages as to which one often 2, 3 or even 4 hours walk must walk. Go to the house of one must be even about 8 hours, really unbelievable for us. In many of these Doerfter so many parents have an alcohol problem, as they make themselves and which alcohol be dependent. The life of this pristine nature seems very nice and easy, but I think it is very hard and very difficult. Some of our boys spent many years in different homes, there is absolutely not at home schooling is often possible.

Unfortunately, many of them not aware of the importance of education for them is, therefore, are already running some of them. A few bigger guys but we have been informed about it and for some, I know that they can go from home to school. Of course, the school was not as good, and it is questionable whether they will go at all, but I just have to trust that they will get their way. The married Young is unfortunately also gone home. I then learned that he lives not far away from a big village and it so is not a problem for him to go to school and he has also promised that he will go. Well probably, and it is for him to live truly the best at his wife. Despite all the hope I then feared as recently learned that he did not go to school, but working from home and probably animals guards or the like. Yes it makes me sad, but it's part of life here.

Another problem that prevails among the tribals, which we have heard but only in recent weeks, are the Maoist (freedom fighter). They live everywhere in the jungle, so in the villages of our Triablburschen too. It even once said that there is too dangerous for us to visit the villages. I've been genuinely unaware that the Maoists are so close and so active. Currently in the newspaper every day on the first page an article about an action of the Maoists or the police against them. What shows me how dangerous they really are showing me the fact that the police in cold blood just shoots once they find one. That sounds scary and it is so, but do not worry they will never come to town. It is also an issue that only shows up for me just because I was informed about it, but the Maoists have been living here for 40 years in the forests and are always kind of active.

My time here is more like something the late, two months can pass as real as in flight. From the beginning of September I will be back in the country.
I try to enjoy the last time and I'm still curious how it will be back in Austria. Honestly, I have to say, however, that I have some fear of parting, as I many people here are very close to my heart and I do not know when I will see her again. Moreover, the transition back to Austria is certainly not so simple, but no matter ... I think now too much about it, but am still here.

Sodalala so much of the news from me. I am superior to me now the ultimate intention for me the children of the first Class in the grip get (even among other things, so I can show my teacher colleague that there are other ways than a stick for the children to calm down. Unfortunately, they are currently plugging better off than me. Refer principally eh rather not to , but the children know that there is a possibility that they will be beaten, so they are quiet. But I'll do it now, hopefully with educational resources without having to pay them inspire fear).

I wish you all wonderful and relaxing vacation. Kind regards Martina

Have also uploaded two videos. At the wrap party for our old students, all teachers said they have about something. Some have also talked about me. Two Videos and I gave up loading ... the two Maedl it presented in their best English. I'm really proud of them:

And something funny I as an attachment: Recently we told by a driver full Outo proud that his children are even studying abroad, he knows even the place where he wants to send them, namely to London, which is located in the U.S. and the acronym stands for United Nations of Africa that is the heart of UK, he explained. Well then all clear where this place is. (I have to say in his defense in a Telugumovie happens that an Indian Family receives a visit from the U.S. and the city from the visits will be in London so naja greet the geography allows)!

Funny Koozie Sayings For Wedding

successful experiences

Today I had a really efolgreichen day, so I've decided I'm going to tell the tale.
in school today was a somewhat melancholy day, but on the other hand very well. The 9 months since I've been here in India, I taught the children at school. Since our school is to prepare for the public school, the children stay for only a year here. On Monday begins the new school year, so it means goodbye to the children. won

one hand, crying with one eye when I put them in this time sooo sweet. Every day, did not matter how tired or unmotivated I once I entered the school, I was gigantic and I was just happy to be there and see the smiling eyes of the children. (Real no idea how the children about us every day since 9 Monanten crazy about us can look forward). I also of course with the children already developed a lot of experience. You know what I ask of them, or what I will tell them (although they may not understand what I want to verbally convey even). I know their quirks, and my stop.

But on the other hand, the laughing eyes, and weighs about real. It's a wonderful feeling to see that our schuetzling can now go to public school and such a big step in making a better future. By comparison with the new children, I can just see very clearly what has all changed. But not only that
If I for example, the second And 3 Class think ... At the beginning of the school year, I'm on the word "book" and they have shown "schoolbag," said (or fall). And today ... Devi sits the love from the 2nd Class next to me and sees a piece of paper and reads it, "What is your name?". You can read an entire English sentence. Or my sixth Class that I teach only been about 6 weeks may now form question and negation, and form the past tense. Or my first Class, the write off of at the beginning English has been able to and now they can all write their names in English.
There is a real good feeling that children can go to because I am so convinced that they vobereitet am well and I have every confidence in them that they will get their way.

the shelter is just not such a good mood. Just as school starts again on Monday, the boys from their families have to go back to the Shelter. So they have to give up their lives again with her family, in complete nature and with much more freedom. But for most it is otherwise not possible to go to school, so it's very important for them that they are in our Shelter. Sorry, there are always children can not cope with it and run it. Last week, three small boys ran away because they were so homesick. One of them called me today and we mean that he will return. Today in the morning is also a home run. In it went, unfortunately, since he came back is not at all well, and he failed to terms with the situation. We tried to talk to him, but he had to do. But this boy is a very smart fellow, so I am certain that he will find his way. In Sabbavaram yesterday ran in the morning like 4 little boys, in the afternoon they were then found in the woods where they hid it, because from there they would walk home.

This all sounds now probably very frightening, but it is often a very touchy reaction that arises from the difficulty to adapt again and finally I am confident that almost all will begin on Monday in the school. Unfortunately, that is to run away but always part of such a project. It was very difficult at the beginning for me, but now I know that deal.
Another example of how different the lives of the tribals (people who live on mountains in villages), has occurred here, too. A 16 year old boy from the Shelter came back after the holidays from his village and told us then that he got married a week. Yes sounds crazy, it is. But the parents when the children marry, so she's not in love with someone or other have any contact. The fact that the wedding is not the best for the two is at that age, I dare to say to me that it's part of the life of tribals, however, is fact. I'm just uebergluecklich that the boy came back to the Shelter and won his school is now making ready. It is also nice to see that he is not depressed about the marriage, but he looks very positive.

Today in the Shelter, I had a tiny little experience that I was minted but insane. At present, we would make in the Shelter from many many Freundschaftsbaender because the boy so much fun. Our youngest boy, Karthik (5 years), has only recently begun to make a friendship band. About two weeks ago he came to me, "Sister Paamu (snake)". He wanted so that I learn in a particular friendship band technology. This I have but just learned themselves and it is really difficult. At first, I explained Karthik, that it is too difficult for him because I really did not know how to do it. He was, however, each drawing lesson to me, "Sister Paamu. I started the show and explain how it works, but his patience was really too little, and after 5 minutes it took the wool and threw it away, and cried, "Sister, no". To my surprise he came back than two days later and asked again after the snake. I explained again, and his patience riess again soon. Then there was a time break. But a few days he came back, "Sister paamu. I sat down again, he explained step by step, how to do it. His patience was very short and I made it but somehow, we made a piece. But he was so dissatisfied with the result that he was angry and it was really angry at me and did not consider me for a while. Today he came back to me and I was even more surprised that he wanted to try it again. I decided today all for him to be there and to do it with him. I held the friendship band and I was always every thread that he must take next. The entire time I focused on him alone, or I knew the, his patience is already over when I For example, only with someone else speak, and he must wait. was really after a while, finally, the long-awaited Paamu (snake) and I was so thrilled with the result that I began to sing. Then he saw my delight, his course still much larger. We have finally made that Karthik has done a Paamu. In the evening we made an exception again and of course the Freundschaftsbaender Karthik came back, "Sister Paamu. I sat down to him and told him to back step by step. Suddenly I discovered when I spoke briefly with someone else, that he has made of himself the next step. I said nothing and only responded when he asked me because he needed confirmation that the next step is right. Eventually I was able to find their own in a friendly band networking and Karthik made his.
He can now make a Paamu alone.
I know I've told this story now really in detail, but I'm looking just like that about it. Karthik has shown me clearly that I can do with a lot of patience. For children it is often difficult to be patient (I know even as well), but if I am calm and patient, then I transfer it to the child and it is much more feasible. But the most beautiful that Karthik showed me was like the saying goes: "Where there's a will, there's a way". And that is clearly Sun Everything can be achieved if one has the will and strength to believe in themselves.

So far so good, the most recent experiences that give me strength and motivation, and always make me feel like much more. Shortly

other news:
It's been a bit cooler, so I am now just one bit wet when I come home from school and no longer completely soaked.
my heat rash has not yet become quite less, but a shower with 3 times a day, baby soap and powder heat I keep it pretty well under control.
Opposite of us will be converted into a home for quite some time - it is beautiful and now I discover that they have painted it in my favorite color-orange. Bright color but just fit really nice in the city.
front of our house is paved the road a bit torn up and new. These small stones were delivered, which have been emptied at the entrance to our street. Well now you just can not go any more pure in the street because there is a large pile of stones. And about half an hour (10 clock in the evening) was suddenly a very loud .... Bettina told me then it just came the mixing machine, well, why not those who want to sleep already. That's a little bit of the crazy India.

So I'm fine, I enjoy the time .... 're nurmehr two and a half months.

wishes you all a wonderful summer (I am pleased that the sun finally arrived with you) and all have a lot of power and energy for the last weeks of school.

love best regards

Martina

Can I Be Allergic To Toffee

many surprises, alteration and change

The last weeks were really exciting and once again very diverse.
has started the end of April almost digestive problems from me. Since I have in two days and I really lost a lot of water but gwusst is to say that I will really really weak, if I wait any longer, I went to the hospital (in India there is something like a general practitioner rather not, because crossing simply go to the hospital). I've thought of me I'll get prescribed medication, but they then told me to stay overnight. Well then, I've based my room and the head teacher and di Bettina went home for things to get for me. In the meantime, me the first infusions were appended. Since it is naturally exciting to white in the hospital came to the infusion does not change a sister, but at least 3 or more. Two very nice sisters I have another 20 minutes then watched as infused into me by the way everything flows and asked what to ask (my training that all of my family, my sister does what, or how old they ,...) are only just stood there and stared at me, nice to ...
The Betty then came back later and then has me in the hospital on a 50 cm wide board slept (in India is always someone in the hospital for help, or to bring about food, because you do not get in the hospital). The whole things as infusions or anything else you have to buy anything in a shop in the hospital, as well as bandages or so you have to buy even if it has been used and thus give back again. After I spent a night in hospital and quite a few infusions had in me, I could go home and we took a cramped Outo home. Hui I was glad to have my bed in my sleep.

But not for long, because already the next day broke all staff together on to go to Calcutta, where we all made a trip out. I was a little weak, but as many as I Medikamten got (the Indians always take tablets and when something too much .... for example. Stomachache has a child, then someone goes to the medical shop and bought two belly blows tablets ... well).
Ok so on Monday afternoon, we left with all employees at the station. We had a trip 16 hours before us and would have had reserved seats, but our train was delayed seven hours, unfortunately, so we grabbed another one and went without a reservation. Somehow, they managed to male employees in the crowded and even angestuermten Wagon reach and grab something in the way seats. We sat in the second row, ie about the normal seats, but it was really cozy, though a bit tight but very good. The train was always empty, so we had at the end of each bank and could even sleep there. To eat rice course was noticed with Souce, I got rice with yogurt because my stomach. After driving 6 hours we had to change and caught the train, where we have reserved beds in all. I fell asleep immediately and woke up just before the station, so really nice 8 hours journey. In Calcutta, we slept in the Don Bosco Provincial House.
It sounds now as if all employees work together to make a holiday ... was not the case. We watched some really ingenious street children projects from there we can really take a lot for our project and learn. Particularly impressive for me was the home of Mother Teresa. We saw her room where she lived, spoke with a few sisters of their order we learned a lot about their lives. Unbelievable how a place can have an atmosphere. She is really an admirable woman, a role model!
But Calcutta was a city very impressive. Really live very very rich people and very many extremely poor. When we clock in the evening on the 10th took the bus through the city we saw everywhere, people sleeping on the street. Many just before their business, but also whole families or just a group of Jugenlichenburschen. Very shocking Riessen such a city, but extremely exciting to watch and observe.
Even after 3 days stay, we drove back to the train home. When Return I slept 14 hours 10 hours through, so it was really nice and very problemslos.
It was a good feeling to be home. In addition, boys were waiting on us now below 26 but 37 as new boys in our project were living somewhere on the mountain and from there, from local or financial reasons can not attend school, or have geschmiessen school. Of course, is now totally different in the Shelter, because the boys have to learn a few things, but they are very open and accessible and it's great fun getting to know them.

middle of last week we had then a very important meeting also our Father really inviting all employees. We learned then what we have suspected of rumors before, that our Father will leave the project and another comes. Just as he's just He told us on Wednesday and on Sunday he left us on Saturday for the big farewell program for him and also the welcome program was for the new Father. So it was called for giving us Thursday, Friday, Saturday full throttle, because parting gift, program, etc. had to be prepared. Finally, we all managed in time and the program was wonderful and he really looked forward insane. On Sunday evening we adopted him or jointly with the bus.
There is clearly a crying and a laughing eye was there, but I think it is ultimately a good thing. The new Father was 3 years ago times in this project so he knows it very well and also knows about the most modest. He has traveled very much in the world and thus has many things to another term, which comes to us in good stead. So I am very confident, but has also curious how it will work.
Last Monday we were allowed to "old" guys at last for 2 weeks go to their families back home. Here is an example of how easily the new Father is: he simply asked each boy if he could go his bus number and you know it. Now, therefore, in the Shelter only the new guys and we have very much time they know what's kind of great and appropriate.

are in school of course also existed back changes in time. Mid-May, are already the new kids come for the next school year, the old children remain at about 2 weeks now still in school. Initially we have taught together, but since getting this week, the new extra lessons. This means for me again a little Stundenplanaenderung: 2 And 3 class is English, 1 English class, I teach the children new English or math, then 6 and now every day English class. So I am now every day 4 units in the school, so the whole morning. Is a little tiring in the heat, but it works. At school we have now unfortunately always a power failure, so do the Vendilatoeren not, so we are always drenched in sweat. But with enough and drink enough motivation does it quite well.
I guess we now had always been around 36-38 degrees. Due to the location of our city, it feels but according to the weather usually like 40 - to 42 degrees. So in summary: It is not cold.
rain this week but already has the 3 days since a tornado is nearby. Yesterday (Thursday) we had because of Hurricane Warning is no school because our school is only about 200m away from the sea. Also last week, we had free time because of a Tsunami Warning. On Wednesday, when it started to rain so much, we had lessons yet, but we had to discover that the roof does not close our school. In addition, our windows are only as strong and as it Gitterstaeben rained so we had to close the shutters. There is no power anyway, and already not at all in this weather, we of course had no light. Since then, teaching is very exciting, but you can always find an alternative program.
on Yesterday evening we had worked wiedermal power outage and our backup does not, so I am just a candle sat down and diary written is actually really a nice atmosphere 

In school we get thanks to donations from Austria new panels . On these we can now write straight and at all points and the students can even read what I write. So it really makes every day joy to write on it.

So, as initially mentioned it happening really a lot for us, but that is what I like India so love the many surprises and their subsequent modifications, which, although often stressful and nerve-consuming, but it is certainly always exciting and you never know what the next day comes. And just walk me again today, but tomorrow I'm free, but remember, not so quite what will be ... I wish you all

for the last few weeks before the holiday or vacation, even a lot of power and to send you some sun to warm the cold Austria!

your Martina

Oh I almost forgot to mention ... Mango season is with us now, so I eat every day 1 - 2 or more mangoes. Real now my absolute favorite fruit. So cute and so an intensive Geschmackt. :)

Fort Worth Cruising Spots

Time passes

I am now again almost 3 weeks in India and back again all in life. Since our return to work is somehow become a little more intense. On the one hand, because Easter was just, but also because I still want to spend more time with the children because I feel somehow that the time has really flies.

Last weekend was Easter, so ... principle really not a big festival in India, because almost all people here are Hindus. Since our project is a Christian, we celebrated Easter. Betty and I were preparing last week for each of the boys before an Easter basket. On Saturday morning we bought for 100 eggs and cooked it and then color it. Actually has surprisingly works really well. The only funny but problem was that we could not deter the eggs, because so does the water from the tap and hot 
On Sunday in the morning we went together with the boys from the shelter by bus to Sabbavaram. There we were happy to see huge I again all the boys. Then there was a beautiful joint exhibition, then followed by lunch. Then there was a program with dances, songs, etc. Meanwhile, we hid the Easter baskets of the many beautiful palm trees. Next we divided the boys into groups and each was allowed to look at Easter. Was kinda funny and a different way than in Austria.
danced After the search, we still working and then we played volleyball and football and enjoyed the time together. Was correct and beautiful but also pretty hot. The nice after such a day is then to keep coming home and then enjoy a warm shower (cold water would be nice, but there is something not currently in the pipe).

In Shelter we have every day now again Drawing class nut, but with the younger lads, they have now, namely in the afternoon always free. The drawing and tinkering with them is always very exciting because they can be inspired for so many things because they do not know many things in India and usually draw more perfect understood and will trace the boys then of course, extremely pleased, because it allowed us, for example, as yesterday, with paint and marbles make a note.

The school has recently changed the schedule for me a little. I have been teaching since last week, the first Class in English. Is a great honor because Volontaere not normally get to first grade. The children are very happy that they finally have a Sister and of course it is also exciting for them, but because we have a different teaching style than our Indian colleagues. For example, I check every single day whether the Hausuebung is brought, etc. They are real bright, but definitely interested and somehow so sweet, because they hold still so questions such as which line they should write. It seems to me in the 1st Absolutely great benefit that I can do something Telugu. So I write them the first words in Telugu in Teluguschrift, and then to the English. Good for them because they understand it as safe and even better for me because it is a really good exercise for me, and I therefore improve my Telugu, especially writing.

Waerden On Friday I was in school and non-additionally, the 6th Teaching English in class, that means that I then Monday, Wednesday and Friday am for one hour longer in school. Is of course even more tiring, but it's really important that the 6th Ordinary class teaching English have. Today I have also taught a bit, first with the class. Since then, the difference is very large.
might sound funny, the first and teach the sixth grade together, but today was not a teacher there, so we then changed things a bit. Since then I've just in the first unit in English 2, 3 and 6 and then taught simultaneously in English in the second unit of the 1st And by the way math in the 6th Not always easy, but just Indian and somehow it works then already. In Austria, that would be somehow absolutely unimaginable.

The Tempertaturen get more and more, but I've already got used to dance music while because I just always sweating. Especially when playing football, it is very hot, but as I said everything Gewoehnungssache.

Aja next to the "work" we have last week attended a lunch break in a girlfriend in her house. She has informed us on the way to her house that her family from the middle layer and their house is not so great. There was then a rather small kitchen, a small bath or shower room and a living room, where about three beds have space. There were two places where sleeps the whole family (mother, two daughters, one son). One of the beds was set up so we could sit down to eat on the floor. We got a really good food served on a leaf. There was a great time to and be a normal Indian family to visit. The hospitality is so incredibly big. Now I'm really

already written a lot.
I also new photos from the last time would make up. I hope you had nice Easter. sends

Very best regards

Martina
